An Post
MCA was invited to bid on an office fit-out for An Post in Dublin, Ireland. The fit-out was designed within a recently completed office block by Shay Cleary Architects and MCA.
The architectural configuration of the office block, characterized by a slender floorplate, proved to be an asset. Abundant natural light was offered across the workspaces, effectively transforming them into well-lit sanctuaries.
Careful consideration was given to the placement of various zones. General workspaces were intuitively positioned adjacent to the building’s cores, fostering a sense of coherence and ease of access.
The outcome of MCA’s pursuit was met with resounding success, as the proposal submitted in response to the RFP was chosen. The fit-out has been completed, culminating in a workspace that occupants enjoy.
My responsibilities included:
- Conceptually modelling and massing the internal fit-out.
- Assisting in the design of select internal spaces and desk arrangements.
- Generating renders using software such as Enscape and Revit.
