Irish Life

The Irish Life headquarters in Dublin City Centre, originally constructed in the 1970s, required a modern intervention to meet contemporary workplace standards and accommodate the company’s growing population. It was essential to preserve the existing brick and concrete facades due to their historical significance within the urban fabric of Dublin.
The office consists of two cores, Block 3A and Block 3B, with an additional floor added to Block 3A and two floors added to Block 3B to increase the overall floor area. A new central atrium will enhance the occupants’ experience and provide collaborative spaces.
The landscaped garden will also undergo significant upgrades, including raised sections to allow natural light into the new restaurant space on the Ground Level. The outdoor space will feature new vegetation, outdoor furniture, and a water feature to improve the overall experience.
In line with current trends, sustainability is a crucial development aspect. The project aims to achieve LEED and WELL Platinum certification to ensure the building’s long-term environmental and human health impact.
